Theo Walcott: The Inspiration to Emerging Players

The Premier League is considered to be one of the two top competitions in Europe, other being the La Liga known as the Spanish first division championship. Over the years, the top-flight from England have shown a trend of introducing some of the young best players in the world to the magnificent stage. Earlier, it has been seen that the best players from different parts of the world have been successful because of their level of performance in international competitions. Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Theo Walcott, among others, have already ignited the fire of the league in the past. All of them have been able to show extraordinary talent at a very young age.


Real Madrid, a club until last summer, appeared that they have put the policy of Galactico aside and concentrated on young players and invested in them. Players like Dani Ceballos and The Hernandez were bought before the commencement of the season of 2017-2018. The top player in this list has to be Phil Foden from Manchester City who is currently at age 19. He has appeared in 23 matches so far, with 3 goals and 6 assists. Having played for approximately 900 minutes, he has the record of scoring every 100 minutes making him the most talented and best young player in the Premier League.
